Grafton Man Sustains Injuries While Transported In Ambulance
The offices of Colombo & Stuhr recently represented a resident of Grafton, WV who
had the unique experience of being in an accident while being transported in an
ambulance to Ruby Memorial Hospital. In this case, Mr. Colombo’s client was brought
to Grafton City Hospital by ambulance for complaints consistent with a heart attack.
While at Grafton City Hospital the client had an EKG which, in fact, showed that
he was in the midst of having a myocardial infarction. A decision was made to transfer
the patient to Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown for cardiac catheterization.
