Grafton Man Sustains Injuries While Transported In Ambulance

The offices of Colombo & Stuhr recently represented a resident of Grafton, WV who had the unique experience of being in an accident while being transported in an ambulance to Ruby Memorial Hospital. In this case, Mr. Colombo’s client was brought to Grafton City Hospital by ambulance for complaints consistent with a heart attack. While at Grafton City Hospital the client had an EKG which, in fact, showed that he was in the midst of having a myocardial infarction. A decision was made to transfer the patient to Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown for cardiac catheterization.
