Morgantown Man Sustains Severe Leg Injury

The attorneys are Colombo & Stuhr routinely represent clients who have been injured in motorcycle accidents. Unfortunately, no matter what the motorcyclist seems to do people who drive cars continue to pull out in front of motorcycles even when they are being lawfully operated.

This was the case for a Morgantown man who was riding his motorcycle in Morgantown into the Glenmark Shopping Plaza just off of Interstate 68. Mr. Colombo’s client was going into the Glenmark Shopping Plaza when a negligent driver made an illegal left hand turn and collided with the motorcyclist. The motorcyclist leg was nearly cut off.

The negligent driver’s insurance carrier was State Farm. Prior to depositions being taken they offered no settlement money. However, as a result of the hard work of Mr. Colombo and his legal team a significant six figure settlement was obtained on behalf of the motorcycle driver.
